Here’s some info for the 2024 Motobecane Strada Express 24 I got from BikesDirect.com I wasn’t able to find much in terms of pictures or description for the bike and the specs just listed a general expectation and not actual specs, so here’s what I got from them!
I will add more information as I go, this is currently a project bike planned to be converted to an eBike.
Parts
A quick rundown of the parts, or information I could discern from the bike based of model numbers or assumptions:
- Rear Derailleur System – Shimano Altus
- Front Derailleur System – Shimano TourneyTX
- Rear Gears – CS-HG31-8 (appears to be a cassette system)
- Brake Lever (for front brakes): BL-MT201
- (Assumed) Brake Calipers: MT200
- Front Brake Disc – SM-RT56-S – 160mm
- (Assumed from SHIMANO Website) Brake pads – B05S-RX

Out of the box, unassembled:
Assembled (do note that I did cut the seat as the bike was a bit big for me):
Assembly Notes
You will need:
- Torque wrench that goes to single digit Newton-meters with a HEX and Torx heads
- Tire pump
- Cutter for zip-ties (or a way to undo the zip-ties if you want to keep them, they’re some what easy to undo)
- Screwdriver
- Wrench for securing the pedal
